Natasha Nowakowski

Natasha is the founder behind Matakana Mobile Sauna, built around a simple belief: life is meant to be enjoyed, in whatever way feels right to you.

Whether that’s slowing down and unwinding, reconnecting with friends, recovering after adventure, or trying something completely new, she loves creating spaces where people can relax, recharge, and feel good.

Having learned to foil at 50, Natasha believes it’s never too late to start something new — but she values the quiet moments just as much. For her, wellbeing is about finding a balance between comfort and curiosity, movement and stillness, adventure and recovery.

Growing up deaf shaped her perspective on life and inspired her to embrace experiences fully rather than let them pass by. Matakana Mobile Sauna is an extension of that outlook — a welcoming space designed to help people slow down, reconnect, and create meaningful moments together.

Because the best experiences aren’t just about where you go, but how you feel while you’re there.
